Grade/Switch Construction
Gage is 7 1/2" and the scale is 1 1/2" and 2 1/2". It is interesting to note that everything for the layout is done on site; bending tracks for 50 foot minium radius turns, and all ties, (recycled plastic:
1 1/2" x 1 1/2"), are cut and routed individually. (The track has a tie about every 4-6 inches).
Lots of dirt moving to keep the
grade suitable for Live Steam.
With the rail bent, the welding
and switches are added.
